Day 1-2: Exploring the Foothills and Rainforests
Our adventure begins with a visit to Cinchona, a prime location to observe hummingbirds and tanagers in their natural habitat. The breathtaking views of San Fernando Waterfalls and the untouched wilderness of Braulio Carrillo National Park set the perfect stage for an immersive nature experience.
Next, we explore La Selva Biological Station, a 6,000-acre preserve offering one of the best introductions to Costa Rica’s tropical rainforest. Expect to see sloths, iguanas, poison dart frogs, and toucans thriving in this biodiverse sanctuary.
Day 3-4: Discovering the Highlands of Cerro de la Muerte
Heading into the oak-dominated forests of the Talamanca region, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, we encounter a unique collection of bird species, including the Talamanca Hummingbird, Northern Emerald Toucanet, and the iconic Resplendent Quetzal. Day 5-6: Wildlife Safari in Sierpe River

Day 7-8: Coastal Adventure
A highlight of our journey is a scenic boat ride on the Tarcoles River, famous for having one of the largest populations of American Crocodiles. The stunning beaches of Punta Leona Resort provide the perfect setting to relax while watching Scarlet Macaws and Capuchin Monkeys play in the trees.
