Our itineraries are designed to include full, active days with plenty of opportunities to experience each place we visit from an insider’s perspective, whether that means encountering wildlife, learning about different cultures and environments, or sharing local traditions.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS:
Refunds are made according to the following schedule:
If cancellation is made 60 days before the departure date, no refund is available. For your protection, we strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance that covers trip cancellation/interruption.
GNT will have no obligation to provide a participant with a refund and will not be liable or responsible to a participant, nor be deemed to have defaulted under or breached any applicable agreement, for any failure or delay in fulfilling or performing any term of such agreement. A “Force Majeure” event means any act beyond GNT’s control, including, without limitation, the following: (a) acts of God; (b) flood, fire, earthquake, hurricane, epidemic, pandemic or explosion; (c) war, invasion, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), terrorist threats or acts, riot or other civil unrest; (d) government order, law or actions; (e) embargoes or blockades; (f) national or regional emergency; (g) strikes, labor stoppages, labor slowdowns or other industrial disturbances; (h) shortage of adequate power or transportation facilities; (i) Health related problems of the participants of our tours or any other similar events or circumstances beyond the control of GNT.
We strongly recommend the purchase of appropriate insurance to have you covered in case of unforeseen circumstances.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
To safeguard against loss due to illness, accident, or other unforeseen circumstances, we strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance with the company of your choice as soon as possible after making a deposit. AIR TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS:
GNT is an in-country tour operator and does not make any air arrangements outside any of the countries where we offer our tour services. Please make sure that you arrange your own international flights to get to the airport destination from which our tour begins and ends.
REGISTRATION & DEPOSIT
Secure your spot with a $500 deposit by bank transfer. Once we receive your deposit and completed registration form (downloadable at www.geonaturatours.com or available from our office), we’ll hold your space for 10 days. Please return the signed form promptly to confirm your reservation.
PAYMENTS (USA)
– 20% Deposit (minimum $500) due upon booking
– Balance due 70 days prior to departure
– Payment methods: Bank transfer, Zelle, or cashier’s check to Mrs. Cynthia Siegel in Tyler, Texas
Delays in final payment may put your reservation at risk. All deposits are held securely in a U.S. bank until 65 days before departure.
INTERNATIONAL PAYMENTS
Wire USD via Wise or direct bank transfer to our Costa Rica account. For more information, please contact our office.
INSURANCE & SUPPORT
We’ve partnered with Mrs. Cynthia Siegel—owner of our U.S. affiliate “Cruisin’ with Cynthia and Howard” and certified Allianz agent—to handle deposits and arrange travel insurance.
