About Us
Why We Travel in Small Groups
At Geo Natura Tours, we believe that smaller groups create richer, more meaningful experiences in the field. With fewer people, you’ll enjoy a more intimate and personalized journey, ensuring everyone has equal opportunities to engage, learn, and appreciate the wonders around them.
Our expert guides are dedicated to making sure you get the most out of your adventure. Many of our clients have said that traveling with Geo Natura Tours was the best expedition of their lives—and we believe the small group experience plays a big part in that.

At Geo Natura Tours, we’ve handpicked the finest birding and nature guides in the countries we visit, each with years of experience and an in-depth knowledge of the natural world.
Our exceptional service goes beyond guiding—combining field expertise with meticulous tour planning to craft a seamless, personalized experience. With Geo Natura Tours, you’re not just booking a trip, you’re embarking on a perfectly tailored adventure designed to create lasting memories.
Committed to Protecting Nature
At Geo Natura Tours (GNT), we take conservation seriously. We proudly own and protect a 300-acre private forest preserve, “El Jamaical,” located along the pristine Jamaical River in Costa Rica’s eastern watershed, near the iconic Arenal Volcano.
Our commitment to preserving the environment goes beyond protection. We’ve established the Jamaical Biological Field Station, where groundbreaking research on tropical rainforest ecology takes place. This station is crucial for studying and safeguarding vital species like the Bare-necked Umbrellabird, the Ornate Hawk-Eagle, and the Three-wattled Bellbird, to name just a few.
By contributing to our conservation efforts, you can play a direct role in preserving these rare and charismatic species. We warmly welcome donations and invite you to become a Friend of El Jamaical Biological Station—join us in protecting this incredible natural sanctuary for generations to come.
